Nuclear Energy - Your opinion? Nuclear Energy With the looming energy crisis gripping the world, and possibly in particular, the USA, nuclear energy is coming back in the forefront. Is nuclear energy development a good idea? There are many new technologies that make producing nuclear energy more efficient and reliable. The use of Thorium (Th-232), which is considered a "greener" source of nuclear energy, is more frequently used these days. Pebble bed technology is another possibility that holds promise. Should we focus more on other forms of non-fossil fuel technology? There are many positives to using nuclear energy. We can move away from coal and other normally very high producing polluters and limit ourselves to just the nuclear waste, for the most part. What are your thoughts?
